NJT recommends LRT for Bergen County

Three decades after state planners and rail activists envisioned it, New Jersey Transit’s Board of Directors Wednesday officially recommended the “Bergen”(County) be added to Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, choosing LRT over other options and ending a political struggle over modes stretching more than a decade.
