Canadian National Railway Co. announced that it plans to repurchase common shares under a specific share repurchase program.

CN 2017 capex: C$2.5 billion

CN’s planned C$2.5 billion (US$1.9 billion) 2017 capital program is “focused on hardening core infrastructure,” the railroad said on Feb. 9.

CN repurchasing up to 4.84MM common shares
