Safety Culture Assessments Show Areas of Strength, Opportunities

The Short Line Safety Institute (SLSI) and the Federal Railroad Administration’s (FRA) Office of Research, Development & Technology have shared the results of an evaluation of all Safety Culture Assessments completed on short line railroads in 2023. Five areas of strength across the railroads and five areas of opportunity were identified.
