2023 Women in Rail: Innovating, Inspiring

Gulf Inland Logistics Park Sells 55 Acres to OmniSource

Gulf Inland Logistics Park, a 2,400-acre rail-served industrial park developed by Liberty Development Partners, announced Nov. 7 that it has sold a 55-acre, rail-served tract within the site to OmniSource LLC to expand the company’s metals recycling operations along the Gulf Coast.

BNSF: Helping to Fuel a Sustainable Tomorrow

Used restaurant cooking oil, tallow and municipal solid waste might not be what most consider the next “big thing” given their “eww” factor, but these raw materials are gaining new respect as a solution to meeting the world’s needs for sustainable energy. That’s because they’re considered feedstocks, which are needed to produce biofuels, or renewable fuels.
