The Parsons and LINC Austin team is selected as Delivery Partner for the Austin Light Rail project. Also, construction work on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) Blue, Orange, and Silver lines wraps up ahead of schedule and under budget.

Sound Transit adds GoodMaps wayfinding tool for riders to five more Link stations. Also, Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) selects AECOM for the Phase 1 delivery of Austin’s first light rail system; and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU) receives a favorable report from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on its safety oversight of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).

Railway Age/RT&S Women in Rail 2024 Conference Roundup

Railway Age and Railway Track & Structures on Nov. 5-6 returned to Chicago for our second-annual in-person Women in Rail Conference featuring trailblazing women and their allies, who are influencing today’s freight, passenger and transit rail industry.
