GO Transit sets summer weekend Barrie service

On June 23, GO Transit will begin running a summer weekend GO Train service pilot along its Barrie line, which runs north from Toronto toward Lake Simcoe. This service pilot will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays between June 23 and September 3, GO Transit says.

Invensys Rail Corp. announces PTC acquisition

Invensys Rail Corp. has acquired privately held PHW, Inc. from the current owner/managers for up to $24 million. Invensys says the acquisition was completed May 10. Pittsburgh-based PHW, Inc. will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Invensys Rail Corp.

St. Paul Central Corridor LRT at halfway mark
