Railway Age Next-Gen Rail Systems 2025 – formerly Next-Gen Train Control (NGTC)

Railway Age Next-Gen Train Control (NGTC) is now Next-Gen Rail Systems!

Railway Age Presents Next-Gen Rail Systems
October 30, 2025 - October 31, 2025 | Hyatt Regency Jersey City | Jersey City, NJ
Train Control and Beyond

Event Info

Railway Age’s Next-Gen Rail Systems Conference (formerly Next-Gen Train Control) has been the rail industry’s single-most important communications and signaling event since 1995.

Over the years, a series of rapid technological developments have shifted train control to become just one element of a complex, integrated platform.

For our 30th annual conference, we are expanding our program to encompass the entire system, examining how signaling and train control technologies are modified and improved by telematics, artificial intelligence, deep data analysis, cybersecurity measures and more. Presented by leading experts, Next-Gen Rail Systems will feature in-depth technical sessions and comprehensive project updates on evolutionary and revolutionary developments in advanced and emerging technologies.

Why You Should Attend
Railway Age conferences are known for providing valuable opportunities: networking with professionals from around the world; learning about innovative approaches to implementing advanced technologies; discovering new methods for procurement and contracting; providing input on standards development; becoming better-informed about ongoing and planned projects; and discovering what regulations are coming and how they could impact business.

PATH Technology Tour
This year’s conference offers a bonus for attendees: A special tour hosted by PATH (Port Authority Trans-Hudson) spotlighting advanced technology the agency is developing and deploying on new railcars, fare collection systems and other customer interfaces. The tour, available on a first-come, first-served basis, occurs Oct. 29. Stay tuned for details.
