Watco Cos. LLC, a short line railroad holding and transportation services company based in Pittsburg, Kan., has selected Herzog Technologies, Inc. (HTI) to provide Positive Train Control (PTC) hosting services. Kansas City Southern announced Oct. 6 that its U.S. subsidiary, The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCSR), has opened a new, multi-commodity transload terminal at its former Zacha intermodal terminal in Dallas, Texas. KCSR has named Watco Transloading, L.L.C. (Watco) as its operator for the facility, effective October 17, 2016.
