NPGCC Aims to Decarbonize Transportation Corridor Between North America and Asia

Global industry leaders from North America, Asia and Europe announced April 15 the formation of the North Pacific Green Corridor Consortium (NPGCC) whose members and partners will “work together to decarbonize the value chain for commodities” between Canada, Japan and South Korea.

“The good news is that global trade is now edging up and we are looking forward to a return to more normal cargo volume levels in the year ahead,” Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka said during his Jan. 10 “State of the Port” address.
