OmniTRAX Adds Arm & Hammer to Rail Network

OmniTRAX announced March 19 that it has signed a long-term rail switching agreement for Arm & Hammer baking soda producer Church and Dwight’s Green River facility in Wyoming.

The Broe Group, based in Denver, Colo., appoints Tammy Middleton as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for its OmniTRAX and Broe Real Estate Group affiliates. Also, Jimmi Sue Smith is retiring as Chief Financial Officer at Koppers Holdings Inc., a provider of treated wood products, wood preservation technologies, and carbon compounds; and infrastructure professional services firm STV elevates Suresh Karre, Derek Overstreet, and Michael Randolph to Vice President roles.

OmniTRAX Expands into Long Island, NY

OmniTRAX on July 30 reported being named the exclusive railroad operator of the Long Island, N.Y.-based Brookhaven Rail Terminal, which serves commodities, aggregates, and building materials customers including The Home Depot, Heidelberg, and LBM Riverhead.

BRG Celebrates 40 Years

OmniTRAX, an affiliate of The Broe Group, recently commemorated the 40th anniversary of its Texas rail division, Brownsville and Rio Grande International Railway (BRG), at a ceremony of economic and community partners in Brownsville, Texas.

Metrolink, Southern California’s regional passenger rail provider, hires Hilary Konczal as its new Chief Safety, Security and Compliance Officer. Also, The Broe Group appoints Morgan Stoll as Senior Vice President of Information Technology over all its businesses, including OmniTRAX, Broe Management, and Broe Real Estate Group.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Pinsly reported Jan. 10 that its new North Florida Industrial Railroad has entered into an agreement with Columbia County, Fla., to be rail operator of the 2,622-acre North Florida Mega Industrial Park in Lake City. The Maine Department of Transportation (DOT) selects an operator/maintainer for Rockland Branch Railroad. Also, a new Pinsly-owned short line enters into an agreement with Columbia County, Fla., to serve the North Florida Mega Industrial Park; and OmniTRAX contributes to 42 non-profits as part of its 2024 Good Neighbor Giving Program.
