TekTracking CTA Deployed on Two Class I’s

A new expansion of railroad asset management and control technology developer TekTracking LLC’s Commander Terminal Automation (CTA) system has been deployed on two Class I railroads.

For TekTracking, More CTA Class I Installs

TekTracking LLC in 2022 expanded use of its Commander Terminal Automation (CTA) system to two additional rail yards at a Class I customer in Wisconsin, in Green Bay and Fond Du Lac.

TekTracking LLC will implement TIMPS (Track Inspection, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System) and SITE (Signal/Crossing Inspection and Testing Efficiency Application) on the Tri-Rail commuter railroad linking Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach in Florida.

Supply Side: EB/E, TekTracking

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Edwin Bohr / Electronics (EB/E) acquired K&L Electronics. Also, TekTracking LLC will provide infrastructure inspection and testing management software for South Florida Regional Transportation Authority’s (SFRTA) Tri-Rail commuter railroad.
