Sustainability: It’s not easy being green
Railroad industry participants in the 2013 GE Transportation/Norfolk Southern Railroad Sustainability Forum in Crotonville, N.Y., are learning that, although “it’s not easy being green,” investing time and resources into sustainability programs and technologies is not only something that needs to be done from a corporate responsibility standpoint, it’s also a potential source of long-term financial benefit.
