Siemens unveils first Amtrak Cities Sprinter locomotive

Amtrak said early May 13 the first of 70 ACS-64 (Amtrak Cities Sprinter, 6.4 MW/8,320 hp) electric locomotives for the Northeast Corridor rolled off the Siemens Mobility assembly line in Sacramento, Calif.
