STB modifies rules in rate review process

The Surface Transportation Board on Thursday issued a final rule in Expediting Rate Cases, Docket No. EP 733, to help improve and expedite the rate review process.

The Association of American Railroads reported U.S. rail traffic for the week ending November 18 of 554,066 carloads and intermodal units, up 1.2%, compared with the same week in 2016.
