The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) recently announced that the top policy issues for this year’s Railroad Day on Capitol Hill, which will take place on March 4 in Washington, D.C., have been finalized.
More than 300 freight rail industry representatives—from Class I’s and short lines to suppliers and contractors, and the major associations that represent them—are coming together in force on and around Capitol Hill on May 7.
On May 8 more than 400 representatives from the railroad industry participated in 350 Congressional meetings as part of our annual Railroad Day on Capitol Hill.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8, railroad industry professionals from across the country will gather to participate in Railroad Day on Capitol Hill. More than 430 representatives from industry, labor, Class I’s, short lines, shippers and manufacturers who support the rail industry will visit with 350 Congressional Offices.
