R.J. Corman Opens New Emergency Division in Maine

R.J. Corman Railroad Services, LLC, a subsidiary of R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC, has announced the establishment of a new Emergency Response Division in Waterville, Maine, which as of May 1, will provide support to customers in the Northeast region of the U.S., including Maine and surrounding states, the company reported on May 4.

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) has appointed a new Vice Chairman of its Executive Board of Directors: Justin Broyles, Executive Vice President, Commercial Affairs at R.J. Corman Railroad Group. He will serve a three-year term.

R.J. Corman Holds Company-Wide Safety Week

R.J. Corman on Feb. 6-10 held its eighth-annual Safety Commitment Week to discuss “the importance of safety and building a safety-driven culture,” the company reports.

R.J. Corman to Launch RFCC

With the purchase of a 43-mile railroad branch and the leasing of a 20-mile branch from Norfolk Southern (NS), R.J. Corman Railroad Company is launching the Raleigh and Fayetteville Railroad, LLC (RFCC), its 19th short line.
