HNTB expands PTC team

HNTB Corp., which is providing Positive Train Control (PTC) engineering and consulting services for numerous projects, has expanded its PTC capabilities by adding two experienced practitioners “to assist transit and rail clients in moving toward compliance and help them address growing infrastructure needs and the approaching legislative deadline” of year-end 2018.

Tri-Rail signs Wabtec for PTC

Wabtec Corp. announced it has signed a contract worth about $40 million to design, install, test and commission Positive Train Control (PTC) for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority, operator of the Tri-Rail commuter service.
