REMSA names new officer/director slate

The Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) on Monday announced its new slate of officers and directors for 2013. REMSA Executive Director David Soule said that, as of Jan. 1, 2013, John Fox, vice president of Marketing and Sales, NARSTCO, will become REMSA’s president.

Nebraska Central Railroad has announced the opening of a new rail bridge serving Norfolk, Neb., which will increase the short line’s capacity to move next-generation railcars of 286,000 pounds per car.
