Port NOLA Advances Planning, Development of St. Bernard Transportation Corridor

The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD) have signed a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) to advance the planning and development of the St. Bernard Transportation Corridor, “a vital roadway project that will directly connect the future Louisiana International Terminal (LIT) in St. Bernard Parish to the interstate system.”

LIT Project Officially Registered with Envision

The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) on Sept. 25 announced that the Louisiana International Terminal (LIT) project is officially registered with the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework, “marking a historic first for both Louisiana and the U.S.”

Louisiana Commits $230.5MM to Port NOLA Infrastructure Projects

A commitment of $230.5 million was made to the Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) for its Louisiana International Terminal (LIT), St. Bernard Transportation Corridor, and St. Claude Bridge projects by the Louisiana Legislature prior to its June 3 adjournment, according to Port NOLA.
