Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) officials and others on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 marked the completion of trackwork for the Foothill Gold Line extension of light rail transit at the line’s future terminal station in Azusa, Calif.
Federal, state, and local Los Angeles officials – along with a Hollywood personality – gathered Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 to mark the construction launch of the Regional Connector, a 1.9-mile underground tunnel designed to unite LA’s light rail transit lines.
The first phase of Los Angeles’ Expo Line, which opened in April 2012, has matched ridership projections of 27,000 daily riders forecast for 2020.
