Keolis North America has named Kim Kuziak as Vice President of Business Development in North America, responsible for “continuing Keolis’ strategic growth objectives and expanding its portfolio through new partnerships with public transit agencies across the United States and Canada,” the company said.
Alex Wu is joining Keolis North America as Vice President of Digital Transformation and Chief Information Officer. Also, at Mitsui Rail Capital (MRC), Ashley Dietiker is taking on the role of Commercial Operations and Customer Service Manager; and at TRAC Intermodal, Jake Gilene is succeeding Jim Bowe, who retired as Chief Commercial Officer on March 28.

Keolis has named Abdellah Chajai CEO of Keolis Commuter Services, which has operated Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s commuter rail system since July 1, 2014.
Keolis Commuter Services Chief Executive Officer and General Manager David Scorey on July 8 was promoted to President and CEO of Keolis North America and named to the Keolis Group’s Management Committee. He replaces Interim CEO Clement Michel, appointed Keolis Group Director of Human Resources and Transformation on May 3.

Six of the largest private transit operating firms—First Transit, Keolis, MV Transportation, National Express, RATP Dev USA and Transdev—have come together to form the North American Transit Alliance (NATA). The group aims to help cities in North America flourish “by promoting innovative transportation solutions that ensure transit is safe, clean and prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.”
Ontario’s first new LRT line began public operation on Friday, June 21, 2019, in the twin cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. K-W, as it is known locally, is about 60 miles northwest of Toronto, on CN’s Toronto-London secondary line. The LRT operates under the brand name of ION.
