Keolis Appoints Lonchamp as EVP of Finance

Keolis North America on March 17 announced the appointment of Matthieu Lonchamp as Executive Vice President, Finance for the region. In this role, Lonchamp will join the North American Executive Committee, leading the company’s financial strategy across operations in the U.S. and Canada. He will be based out of the company’s North American headquarters in Boston.

Virginia Railway Express (VRE) renews its contract with Keolis North America (Keolis). Also, construction is under way on Metrolinx’s Bowmanville Extension project that will bring the Lakeshore East GO line into the Durham Region of Southern Ontario, Canada.

Julien Rejoins Keolis as VP of Commercial Development

Keolis North America (Keolis) on Oct. 5 announced that Francis Julien has rejoined the company as Vice President of Commercial Development to “further advance Keolis’ commercial development activities and attract new business by identifying growth projects and deepening relationships with partners and other stakeholders.”

The BART Board officially approved the contract to STraffic America for new fare gates systemwide. While the new design has not yet been finalized, the gates are slated to have clear swing barriers that will be difficult to be pushed through, jumped over or maneuvered under.
