Kansas City Southern on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 reported third-quarter 2014 revenue of $678 million, up 9% from the third quarter of 2013. Carload volumes for the quarter were up 4% from the comparable quarter of a year ago, the company said. Both were at record levels, KCS said.

Maersk’s Hansen, Caterpillar’s Bozung join KCS

Erik B. Hansen, who has spent more than 25 years in leadership positions at A.P. Moller-Maersk and affiliated companies, has joined Kansas City Southern as Vice President Intermodal. Daniel B. Bozung, who has held positions in marketing, corporate public affairs, and supply chain management at Caterpillar, Inc., has joined KCS as Assistant Vice President Mechanical Operations.

Jarboe, based in Kansas City, reports to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dave R. Ebbrecht.
