First RTD EMUs on their way to Denver

The first electric multiple-unit coaches ordered by the Denver Regional Transportation District, for its electric regional commuter rail system, have departed the Hyundai-Rotem plant in South Philadelphia for Denver.

SEPTA receives final Silverliner V EMU

SEPTA on Monday, Dec. 17, 2013 received the final Silverliner V electric multiple-unit (EMU) car it ordered from United Transit Systems, LLC, completing a $274 million order beset by delays.
