The Oklahoma Department of Transportation expects to spend approximately $100 million over the next three years upgrading 300 highway/rail grade crossings now only marked with crossbucks to full warning systems gates, lights and bells, as well as concrete crossing surfaces.

Siemens names Michael Peter CEO of Mobility Management Business Unit

Michael Peter, 49, has been appointed CEO of Siemens’ Mobility Management Business Unit, effective Oct. 1, 2015. Most recently, Peter was head of the Mainline Rail Automation Business Segment in Braunschweig. He will replace Jürgen Brandes, who will be heading the Process Industries and Drives Division in Erlangen. In his new capacity Peter will report to Jochen Eickholt, CEO of Siemens Mobility Division.

Battelle lands MTA QBL West Phase 1 CBTC ISA contract
