ProTran deploys flood warning system

Protran Technology, which recently provided its real-time Trespass Warning and Track Monitoring System to the Los Angeles County MTA and Maryland MTA, has developed a Flood Warning System that alerts designated personnel to the location of a flood via text or e-mail through an emergency notification system.

San Diego MTS launches new mobile ticket app

Coordinating an introduction with the start of the NFL San Diego Chargers’ 2013-2014 season, San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) announced Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, the pilot launch of MTS mTicket, “a mobile ticketing app that lets riders use their smartphone to purchase their day pass” when riding the city’s Trolley system.

SYSTRA names Harrison Sector Manager, Systems
