Savoy of CN named 2016 TMSA Marketing Executive of the Year

Citing health reasons, CN President and Chief Executive Officer Claude Mongeau will step down on June 30, 2016. Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Luc Jobin will succeed him.

CN announced on May 5, 2016 it has been recognized as one of the three recipients of the prestigious Responsible Care Partner of the Year award of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), as well as a a 2015 National Achievement Award from Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response (TRANSCAER®).
CN and the Canadian Pacific announced on May 5, 2016 that they are contributing a minimum of C$150,000, combined, to help people affected by the devastating wildfires that have swept through Northern Alberta, forcing emergency evacuations of some 80,000 people and destroying thousands of homes and businesses.
Launched in 1992, CN’s Safe Handling Award is presented to customers who load freight cars with dangerous goods and meet strict standards for the safe handling and shipment of regulated products. The winners must meet established criteria, according to the total number of shipments of dangerous goods for all facilities.
