Denver, Colo.-based Alpenglow Rail and partner Toronto, Canada-based Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure (CC&L Infrastructure) on Dec. 17 reported closing “an inaugural private placement financing” that raised C$280 million-plus, a transaction described as “oversubscribed” and receiving an “investment grade rating.”
Denver, Colo.-based Alpenglow Rail, in partnership with Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, has purchased a newly constructed rail terminal in Orange, Tex., that is served by Union Pacific and BNSF.
Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure has teamed up with Alpenglow Rail LLC to develop and operate a diversified portfolio of rail businesses across North America. In addition, CC&L Infrastructure acquired VIP Rail ULC, an Alpenglow affiliate, from Stonecourt Capital LP.
