Canadian Pacific (CP) has donated $124,000 to support heart health in Alberta through its Clear Rounds for Heart initiative. Second KCS U.S./Mexico Border Bridge Getting Closer

Construction is expected to start in October or November on a second Kansas City Southern international rail bridge at the U.S./Mexico border connecting the border cities of Laredo, Tex. and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

In response to a request from “affected communities,” the Surface Transportation Board’s (STB) Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) issued on Sept. 6 a notice extending the deadline for public comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed acquisition of Kansas City Southern (KCS) by Canadian Pacific (CP) to Oct. 14.

STB: Five Class I’s Revenue Adequate for 2021

Children, Paula Reto Win Big at CP Women’s Open

Record attendance and incredible performances, including by big winner Paula Reto, during the Canadian Pacific (CP) Women’s Open on Aug. 28 helped CP raise $2.5 million to support the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation and $510,000 for 2022 CP Women’s Open community partner Perth & Smith’s Fall District Foundation, the railroad reported in a release.
