FRA: Nearly $1.5B for 19 Projects Along NEC

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) on Nov. 15 announced additional funding of nearly $1.5 billion for 19 projects along the Northeast Corridor (NEC), “continuing its historic investment in passenger rail.”

NJ Transit Taps ACI-Herzog JV as New HBLR Operator

The NJ Transit Board of Directors on Nov. 13 announced that it has awarded a contract to ACI-Herzog JV to operate the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) system, which encompasses 24 stations, running north-south along the Hudson River waterfront in Hudson County for 20.6 miles and delivers service to more than 48,000 daily weekday riders.
