Nominations Sought for ASLRRA’s New Environmental Award

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) is inviting members to apply for its new Environmental Award that will recognize “innovative and successful environmental initiatives in the small-railroad industry.” Nominations are due March 4.

Biden Administration Releases U.S. National Blueprint for Transportation Decarbonization

The Biden Administration has released the U.S. National Blueprint for Transportation Decarbonization, “a landmark interagency framework of strategies and actions to remove all emissions from the transportations sector by 2050,” the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced Jan. 10.

Associations Petition TSA for Extension of Surface Cyber Risk Management Comment Period

LRW Announces 2022-23 Board

The League of Railway Women (LRW) last month appointed its 2022-23 Board of Directors at the annual conference, which was held in conjunction with the Railway Supply Institute’s (RSI) 2022 Expo and Technical Conference in Fort Worth, Tex.
