Alstom Opens Plant 4 Manufacturing Facility in Hornell, N.Y.

Alstom on June 2 announced the opening of its new 135,000-square-foot Plant 4 manufacturing facility in Hornell, N.Y., which will produce stainless steel car body shells for passenger rail vehicles and provide additional capacity and manufacturing capabilities to support other Alstom projects.

Alstom, UdeS Partner to Support Recruitment, Innovation

Alstom on May 15 announced that it has signed a five-year philanthropic agreement with the Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) in Quebec, Canada, to “support knowledge dissemination, training, experiential learning, student involvement, and teaching and development activities in line with Alstom business objectives and corporate social responsibility.”
