WMATA awards contract to Unitrac
Written by Douglas John BowenUnitrac Railroad Materials, Inc. said Wednesday it has received a three-year contract to supply special trackwork to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), valued at approximately $8 million over the three-year period.
“Unitrac has provided various trackwork material to WMATA over the last few years and this recent award validates their trust in our dedication to provide high-quality specialty trackwork products in a timely manner,” said Ray Lambert, president of Unitrac.
Unitrac Railroad Materials, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of new and relay rail, is an ISO 9001:2008 and M-1003 certified company.
