Britain’s Nomad Digital said Tuesday that passenger WiFi is now available on East Midlands Trains’ entire Meridian fleet (27 units), which provide service on the London-Sheffield and London-Nottingham routes. In addition, four of the 11 MKIII high speed trains have passenger WiFi installed and, during the next two months, the service will be rolled out across the MKIII HST Fleet.

Nomad Digital Executive Chairman Nigel Wallbridge said, “We are pleased to have helped East Midlands Trains deliver passenger WiFi on their Meridian fleet in a timely fashion, and look forward to completing the installation of the MKIII HSTs.”

Gary Griffiths, franchise program manager of East Midlands Trains, said, “It has been a great team effort to complete the installation of the Meridians. We are very pleased with how the service has been received by our customers.”
