SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
The Senior Systems Engineer will work with the PTC C&S Engineering team to oversee the administration, operations and support of train controls systems and infrastructure to achieve established availability and service levels.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
This position requires an Associate Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Systems or related field plus evidence of a range of current technical certificates such as Cisco, Dell, HP, etc. and must have a minimum of must have a minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a 24/7 operations center environment providing operational support (i.e. dispatch center, network operations center, or other similar operational support environment); prior experience working in a railroad operations center is highly preferred; experience working with complex operations systems/software such as dispatch, enterprise management or other mission critical systems or software; prior experience with ARINC AIM CAD, BOS or other train control systems preferred; willing and able to maintain a flexible work schedule — including the possibility of nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated ability to create effective reports and presentations to communicate required information. Willingness and ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, procedures, and technology. A valid class “C” California driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record of no more than 3 moving violations and no DUI’s within the last 3 years.
