Railway Interchange 2011
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefPreliminary attendance figures are in for “The Big Show” held in Minneapolis the past three days and the numbers indicate that Railway Interchange 2011 was a great success for all involved.
According to AREMA Executive Director Charles H. Emely, RI2011 attendance totaled about 9,000. This number includes about 2,500 registered for the AREMA and Coordinated Mechanical Associations conferences, 1,800 for REMSA, 1,900 for RSI , and 1,800 for RSSI. The figures consist of exhibiting company employees, and attendees from all over the world.
“Thanks to everyone involved for helping to make RI-2011 a success!” Emely said.
