AAR: North American Rail Volume Up Through Week 51

Total North American carload and intermodal traffic rose 2.3% through the first 51 weeks of 2024 compared with the same period last year, the Association of American Railroads (AAR) reported Dec. 27. The United States and Mexico experienced gains while Canada saw losses through the week ending Dec. 21, 2024.
