Kevin Riddett (top left), formerly President of Invensys Rail North America (previously known as Safetran), has been promoted to the new role of Chief Operating Officer of the entire Invensys Rail company, which is based in London. John Paljug (bottom) is now President of Invensys Rail North America. He previously held senior positions in marketing and business development.
All of Invensys Rail’s operating businesses will now report to Riddett, whose main responsibility will be “to continue to improve the company’s technology and delivery capabilities,” Invensys Rail said. “His appointment allows Chief Executive James Drummond to focus on the long-term strategic development of Invensys Rail and in particular the implementation of Invensys Rail’s ambitious ‘Railway of Tomorrow’ program.
“Kevin’s proven track record will help us to look beyond our current strengths to develop and execute the best practice, processes, and capabilities that are required to take Invensys Rail to the next level,” Drummond said. “We are looking forward to unlocking even more of the tremendous developments that our global teams have been working on to create the ‘Railway of Tomorrow.’”
