Bombardier touts light rail offerings

Bombardier Transportation has spent several weeks preparing to showcase its North American Light Rail Vehicle at the American Public Transportation Association Expo 2011 Oct. 2-5 in New Orleans. Bombardier plans to hold a press conference at 2:00 p.m. Monday at its exhibition to detail “two of its most recent innovations in the field of urban mobility.”

bombardier_logo.jpgThe company intends to “showcase the advantages of 100% low-floor, modulardesign for urban and suburban LRV applications,” including its PRIMOVE technology which allows catenary-free and contactless operation.

Bombardier Transportation President and CEO Andre Navarri, Bombardier Transporation President-North America Raymond Bachant, and company Head of the PrimoveCity program Meremie Desjardins will address the media and interested APTA participants, and handle questions at Booth 4433, Hall H, in New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
