JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Analyzes actual costs and progress vs. budget for track projects to ensure projects are done within budget and meets scope of work.
- Prepares proposals, schedules, cost estimates and budgets for track projects.
- Supervises track work performed and ensures adherence to budget quality standards and safety requirements. Avoids interference with trains.
- Reviews and comments on track work plans to ensure plans meet standards, specifications and goals.
- Reviews outside design and estimate submittal to ensure conformance to NJT standards and pricing uniformity
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS REQUIRED: Baccalaureate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and five (5) or more years experience in track maintenance and construction.
