AAR: North American Rail Volume Uptick Continues Through Week 37

The Association of American Railroads (AAR) on Sept. 18 reported that total North American carload and intermodal traffic rose 2.6% through the first 37 weeks of 2024 compared with the prior-year period. The United States, Canada and Mexico all experienced gains through the week ending Sept. 14.
