Trinity Industries’ Jean Savage is elected to the Board of Parker Hannifin Corporation (PH), a motion and control technologies supplier. Also, Manitoba, Canada-based Arctic Gateway Group (AGG) appoints Chris Avery as CEO; and HDR elevates Justin Garrod to Transit and Rail Construction Management Lead.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) will next month debut contactless payments onboard Green Line and Mattapan Line trolleys as well as buses and at subway fare gates, and has officially opened the Worcester Union Commuter Rail Station’s center platform. Also, San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) releases a report detailing its role in the region.

Also, Road & Rail Services, LLC (R&RS) hires Tim Kizer as Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions; Network Rail Consulting (NRC) names Rachel Maguire as its new Finance Director; and HNTB Corporation welcomes Grace Tell as Project Director.

AAR Launches ‘Rail Industry Overview’

The Association of American Railroads (AAR) Policy and Economics Department on July 8 released Rail Industry Overview, a new complimentary monthly report that the association said offers “quick insights into what rail traffic says about today’s economy and where the data suggest it could be headed.”
