Chilton Joins Tealinc as Director: Railcar Leasing & Sales

Forsyth, Mont.-based freight railcar owner/lessor and rail transportation solutions company Tealinc LLC (Tealinc) announced Jan. 2 that Nate Chilton has been appointed to Director: Railcar Leasing & Sales. He will be based in the company’s Broomfield, Colo., office.

CPKC Holiday Train Raises C$1.8MM

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) on Dec. 22 announced that the 2023 CPKC Holiday Train program raised a record C$1.8 million and collected more than 160,000 pounds of food for local food banks and food programs in the U.S. and Canada over the last four weeks.

MDOT MTA Temporarily Suspends Light Rail Service (UPDATED, 12/27)

Effective 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 8, the Maryland Department of Transportation – Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) has temporarily suspended Light Rail service at all stops to perform emergency inspections of every vehicle in the fleet.

Canadian Regulator Rules on Crop Year 2022-2023 Maximum Grain Revenue Entitlements

The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) on Dec. 21 ruled that revenues of both CN and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) were above their respective maximum grain revenue entitlements for crop year 2022–2023.
