Wabtec: ‘Strong’ 4Q25, Full-Year Results

“The Wabtec team delivered a strong fourth quarter and full-year results, reflecting the strength of our business and our ability to execute in dynamic markets,” President and CEO Rafael Santana said in a Feb. 11 earnings announcement. Sales were up 14.8% compared to the year-ago quarter “driven by increased sales in the Freight segment, which included acquisitions, and in the Transit segment.”

FRA Issues Final Reflectorization Rule

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has issued a final rule concerning reflectorization of rail freight rolling stock. The rule, 49 CFR Part 224, which went into effect on Jan. 27, “codifies waivers and removed an outdated implementation schedule.”
