IANA: Intermodal Challenged in 2Q23

Total intermodal volumes fell 10.4% year-over-year in second-quarter 2023, according to a recent report by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA). All segments showed declines, including domestic containers, down 6.3%; international containers, down 13.2%; and trailers, down 20.1%.
