TriMet Taps STV to Lead Light Rail Systems Upgrades

STV announced May 6 that it has signed a contract with the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) to spearhead the replacement of 12 traction power substations along the agency’s Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) Blue Line.

Railmark Named Operator, Developer of Miss. Rail Line

Railmark Industrial Railway Inc. (RIR), a wholly owned subsidiary of Railmark Holdings, Incorporated, has been named as the new operator and developer for the 11-mile industrial rail line in Tishomingo County, Miss., that interchanges with Norfolk Southern (NS) and the Tenn-Tom Waterway via a barge port.
