Port of Long Beach Selects HDR for $870MM Rail Project
The Port of Long Beach, the largest U.S. intermodal import gateway, has selected HDR to perform the final design as it moves ahead with its $870 million Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility Project to streamline rail operations and reduce bottlenecks.
London Trackwork Awarded Finch West LRT Supply Contract
Mosaic Transit Group recently awarded London Trackwork Inc. the supply contract for the Special Trackwork and switch machines for the Finch West LRT in Toronto, Ontario. The contract will take about 1.5 to 2 years to complete, London Trackwork noted.
Wabtec Offering Additional GE Shares
Wabtec Corp. recently filed a 20,485,156 share offering of GE, and expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,048,515 shares. Wabtec said it will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares in the offering.
