NJT Awards ARINC Contract for Control, Data Upgrades

NJ Transit (NJT) has awarded the ARINC rail solutions team at Collins Aerospace Systems a three-year contract to replace its Train Management and Control (TMAC) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems.

Report: Sound Transit Top Safety Officer Out

According to a report from The Seattle Times, Sound Transit CEO Peter Rogoff has removed Chief Executive Safety and Quality Officer Salah Al-Tamimi, as a result of the fatal Amtrak Cascades passenger train derailment on Sound Transit-owned tracks in DuPont, Pierce County, in December 2017.

Siemens’ Wadsworth Appointed to RSI Board

Harrison Wadsworth, Director of Government Affairs for Siemens, has been appointed to the RSI Board of Directors to fill a seat vacated by Siemens Mobility President of Mobility Management in North America John Paljug, following his retirement from Siemens Mobility earlier this month.
