Bombardier joins Russian joint venture for trams
Written by Douglas John BowenUralvagonzavod, Russia-based OJSC and Bombardier Transportation reportedly have established a joint venture to manufacture streetcars for the world’s largest nation, signing a letter of intent.
OJSC General Director Oleg Siyenko told RusBusinessNews that the joint venture wwill be established on a parity basis.
Ural Transport Machine-Building Plant, OJSC, is a subsidiary of Uralvagonzavod and specializes in tram production.
