BNSF names Greg Fox EVP operations
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefBNSF Railway President and Chief Operating Officer Carl Ice announced that Greg Fox has been promoted to executive vice president, operations.
Fox has served as vice president, Transportation, since May 2007. Prior to that he was vice president, engineering, starting in September 2002.
Operations functions reporting to Fox include Engineering; Mechanical; Transportation; Safety, Training and Operations Support; and Resource Protection.
“Greg Fox embodies our Leadership Model,” Ice said. “Greg recognizes that employee commitment is the foundation for BNSF’s continued success, and he effectively builds strong work teams and processes. Under Greg’s guidance and vision, we have made great strides in Transportation and many other areas. We look forward to his contribution as he brings these same strengths to leading our entire Operations organization.”
